12/23 Update: We have really been enjoying our Liturgy of the Word with Children sessions during advent! Our team will continue the children’s sessions during the 10am church service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month. Please see Anne Dietterich or Amy Pickwell if you are able to be a rotating facilitator.
Right after the twelve days of Christmas, we celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany January 6. On this day, we commemorate the visit of the Three Wise Men to worship the baby Jesus. They brought elaborate gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to honor the blessed child. Beginning the 1st Sunday of Advent (this coming Sunday) we will be inviting the youngest members of our congregation to share a special age appropriate time learning about the Sunday Scripture.
