The plane trip was uneventful except that we left Toronto about 45 minutes late.  They said it was a storm in the area but I actually think the crew wanted to watch the World Cup finals.  Everyone survived the 11-hour plane trip and recovered from jet lag rather quickly.  Upon arrival at St George’s we checked into our room and headed to the Old City for a quick bite to eat.  We officially started the course with an evening Eucharist and dinner followed by a meet and greet opening meeting.  We have a total of 44 participants including friends from Seattle Washington, St Johns Newfoundland, Minneapolis Minnesota and Nazareth Galilee.  Well it was off to pack our overnight bags and head to the desert the next morning.
